Jana Gordon joined the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony as Director of Development in 2008. She has a depth of knowledge and experience in fundraising for the arts and a passion for symphony orchestras. Her work experience includes Major Gifts Team Leader with Wilfrid Laurier University, Director of Development with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and Manager of Corporate Giving with the English National Opera. Jana holds a Masters of Arts in Arts Management from City University and a Bachelor of Music from the London College of Music and Media, both in London, England. Jana began her career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche and has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A & M University. Jana is both a Certified Fundraising Executive and a Certified Public Accountant. Jana lives in Waterloo with her husband Joe and daughter Meaghan.
