Local Realtor Julie D. Martin is a busy woman of many interests. She describes herself as a combination of "businessy", "artsy", and the "girl next door" that you feel like you've known your whole life. When Julie isn't out selling houses, she is enjoying one of her many interests - - singing, decorating, cooking, traveling, shopping, writing, visiting museums, attending plays/musicals/concerts, planning parties and special events, laughing and making people laugh, spending quality time with my family and friends, and playing with her two furry poodle-mix dogs. Julie has traveled throughout North America, Central America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and has lived in several different regions. Julie has sung the National Anthem for a number of professional sporting events. One of the proudest moments in her professional life was the day she met notable philanthropist Warren Buffet, while working in sales management for Geico Insurance. This year, Julie fulfilled a professional and personal goal when she initiated the launch of a group called NetWorkers, specifically for entrepreneurs, business owners, the self-employed and those in management or position of influence. She and her husband, Roger, are actively involved in GO Missions In Action, a group that helps meets the needs of people here locally and abroad.
